Proportional valve driver card
MotorTech HSV drives proportional valve coils under current control: 0–200 mA and 0–400 mA unidirectional, and ±20 mA, ±40 mA and ±80 mA bidirectional ranges. It has 2-channel LVDT reading on the board and CAN bus communication, and can be bought separately.
EmbedTech HCS is at the proof-of-concept (PoC) and trial stage. It makes no claim of certification, standards compliance or series use.
What to check when choosing a proportional valve card
The first value to check is your valve’s coil current. The driver’s current range must cover the coil’s operating range.
The upper limit of MotorTech HSV is 400 mA. Proportional valves that need a higher coil current fall outside this card’s range; share your valve’s value and we can check the fit together.

Which proportional valves can it be used with?
Proportional valves whose coil current stays within the card’s selectable ranges. The upper limit is 400 mA; valves that need a higher coil current fall outside these ranges.
Does it also work with servo valves?
Yes. MotorTech HSV is developed for both servo and proportional valves.
Can MotorTech HSV and EHA be bought separately?
Yes. MotorTech HSV, the servo and proportional valve driver, and MotorTech EHA, the electro-hydrostatic actuator driver, can each be bought separately.
What stage is the product at?
